Divorce Support Group


If you are experiencing a divorce or separation, come join Deb Link, licensed counselor and therapist, as well as family law mediator, to receive support, learn, and share your story as you make your way through this challenging life transition. This group is ideal for both men and women who are experiencing separation and/or divorce, or have within the last year. Only one spouse involved in the same divorce is allowed to attend the group. Group will meet October-January every other Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Topics will include setting and creating personal boundaries, developing a support system, preparing for holidays, navigating your relationship with your ex without putting your children in the middle, working through the emotions, and building a new sense of identity. Cost is $40 per week (insurance accepted). Intake session is required. Call 763.244.4900 to schedule an intake and sign up for the group. Space is limited to 8-10 participants. Group will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.




Support Group for Adolescent Girls Who Have Experienced Sexual Abuse and/or Rape


This creative and interactive group will help adolescent girls who have experienced childhood sexual abuse or rape process through their traumatic experience, receive support from others who can understand their feelings, and learn how to minimize the impact of the abuse on their present and future. The group is open to girls ages 14 to 17 (on average) who have been sexually abused or raped at any time during their childhood or teen years. Group will meet on Wednesdays (October 26th-December 21st, 3:30 to 5:00 PM, excluding November 23) Cost is $50/week, or $400 total, not including intake (insurance accepted). Intake is required. Space is limited to 8-10 participants. Group will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Signing up for a group of this nature takes a lot of courage. October 26: Introductions and Identifying Beliefs (you will not have to tell the story of what happened to you)
Nov 2: My emotions feel out of control
Nov 9: I want to make better choices when I'm overwhelmed but I don't know how
Nov 16: Other people don't know how to deal with me, and I don't know how to deal with them
Nov 30: I feel like it's my fault
Dec 7: I have no idea who I am anymore
Dec 14: I don't trust anyone
Dec 21: Where do I go from here




Adolescent DBT groups


Link Therapy and Mediation, Bridging Hope Counseling, and Inside Out Life Development continue to collaborate to offer DBT groups for both adolsecent boys and girls. Girls groups meet either Monday or Tuesday after school and a new boys group will be starting at the end of September on Thursdays. Contact 763.244.4900 for more information.
